My poor Eating habits: Bad Diet

Note to all: This is my old personal story trying to discover how eczemas work. Now that I know better, I suggest you follow the CURE PROTOCOL section of this website.

My mother was always proud of me not being a picky eater. We could travel and eat anything presented to us.

Now I know this was not such a good thing.

The statement that made an impression on me was from a book: “Slim people are very picky eaters.”

As a corollary, due the the poisonous nature of our foods today: “Healthy people are very healthy and picky eaters.” In my dependent years living at home, we ate a normal urban lifestyle. My mother was a career woman, so our cooking was left to the maids and other convenience foods like your average junk pizza, hotdog, canned goods, hamburgers, fried chicken, etc.

I used to crave for those kinds of junk food. Occassionally I’d eat corn chips with MSG. And hidden from everyone’s view, I would buy “chicharon”, pig intestines or skin deep fried in its own fat.

When I moved out on my own, things got worse. I did not cook, there was no economy in cooking in an apartment of 1 person. I started eating instant noodles and microwavable or only fried convenience foods.

In short, I was “nutrition – stupid” for a very long time.

Luckily I got married and had children. My wife being a basically healthy eater. Today, given better logistics and knowledge, I am eating the healthiest foods ever in my whole life.
